I like this shirt much better without the box. Maybe try and see what a slightly thicker outline on the word never would look like? Or try the same font as the other words with no outline. I'm just throwing ideas out there.

I think the outline gives it substance, though I would be curious if a thicker outline would improve or detract from the effect.

I vaguely remember seeing this shirt with a box, and cast my vote in favor of the box. Definitely adds to the shirt IMO.

Yes, the original version was a dash-lined 3d box with a short-haired female head inside it. I thought maybe the face on the head wasn't drawn well enough and figured people would like plain text more.
